STEPS TO BETTER WRITING 33: TRYING IT ON YOUR OWN
If you have worked all these steps preceding this one carefully, you will have learned how to write a good paper. Prove to yourself – and me – that you can do it by writing a paragraph on one of the topics below. You should outline on a separate sheet of paper, according to the method we have covered in these lessons. Write a rough draft and then proofread it. Make any corrections and improvements, then make a clean and correct copy to turn in.
Choose one of the following topics
the car I would most like to own
decisions I should be allowed to make for myself
the fears I live with
the disadvantages (or advantages) of living on your own
qualities of different teachers
the causes of family arguments
